PM Modi’s Tribute To Mulayam Singh Yadav: Mulayam Singh Yadav was a key soldier during the Emergency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a tribute today. The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister died early morning at a hospital in Lucknow after battling for life for over a week. He was 92. “I am deeply saddened by the demise of Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji. He will be remembered for his rich service to the nation and contribution to Uttar Pradesh’s development,” PM Modi tweeted this morning.

‘Great Loss For Country’ “It is with great sadness that I learnt of the passing away of Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav. He was a tall leader of his time and will be remembered for his contributions to national security,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted today morning. “Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav’s demise is a huge loss for our country. My deepest condolences,” PM Modi added in another tweet.
