Prime Minister Modi’s Diwali gift- On a special occasion, India’s prime minister will gift jobs to 75,000 young people via live video conference on October 22. He will be interacting with them on October 23, just two day before Diwali.
A total of 75,000 young people will receive appointment letters from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Jobs will be allocated to various ministries including defence, railway, postal services, labour ministry, employment ministry, central industrial security force, CBI, customs, etc.
Union Ministers will also take part in this program from various cities across the country.
The Union Cabinet has approved the appointment of 11 new ministers, including five women. They include four members each from the states of Odisha, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttarakhand, and one member each from the union territories of Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, and Goa.
