Realme Pad 2 Launch Date Teased, 11.5-Inch HD Display and More Details Revealed

The Realme Pad 2 is set to make its debut in India very soon. As the successor to 2021’s Realme Pad, it will launch alongside the Realme C53 smartphone. Flipkart has listed the tablet’s launch page, revealing not only the release date but also details about the display specifications and colour options. The Realme Pad 2 is slated to launch in two colour shades, and it is confirmed to sport an 11.5-inch HD display. Previously leaked specifications hint at an 8,360mAh battery with support for 33W charging.

According to Realme, the Pad 2 will launch in India on July 19. Flipkart’s product page also confirmed the date and hinted at the display specifications. Pre-booking for the tablet will be available from July 26 onwards, and it will come in two colour options, Gray and Green.

The teaser also verified that the Realme Pad 2 will feature an 11.5-inch LCD display with 2K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device is also expected to offer 460 nits of peak brightness and an impressive 85.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. In terms of camera specs, it is set to include a dual rear camera setup enclosed in a circular camera module on the back.

Earlier leaks provided some details about the upcoming tablet’s processor, storage, camera, and software. The Realme Pad 2 is tipped to run on a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is also said to come equipped with an 8,360mAh battery with support for 33W charging via a USB Type-C port. The device will reportedly run on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.

The Realme Pad 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Realme Pad, which was launched in 2021 with a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ (2,000×1,200 pixels) display, powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. With an upgrade in terms of display, processor, and battery, the Realme Pad 2 is set to offer an enhanced user experience.
