PM Modi Ahead Of 900-Meter-Long Mahakal Lok Corridor Opening

Mahakal Lok Corridor Opening: PM Modi will on Tuesday inaugurate the Mahakal Lok corridor in Ujjain. He is scheduled to offer prayers at the Mahakaleshwar temple before taking part in a number of other events. The 900-metre-long Mahakal Lok corridor connects the sanctum sanctorum of the 12th century Mahakaleshwar temple with five other temples – Mangalnath, Vikramaditya, Omkareshwar, Vindhyavasini and Kal Bhairav.

Ujjain is all set to witness a historic moment on Sunday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 900-metre-long Mahakal Lok corridor. The state-of-the-art facility, which has been built at a cost of Rs 850 crore, will provide direct access to the sanctum sanctorum of the Mahakaleshwar temple – one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.
