Apple has warned that its iPhone shipments from China are being disrupted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and that it expects to see lower than anticipated shipments of its new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models as a result.
“We continue to see strong demand for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. However, we now expect lower iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max shipments than we previously anticipated,” said Apple in a statement.
The company did not provide any specific details on the extent of the disruption or the expected impact on its financial results. However, analysts have warned that the pandemic could lead to a significant shortfall in iPhone shipments in the first half of 2022.
