Uddhav Thackeray Responds To Devendra Fadnavis’s: Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray has responded to Devendra Fadnavis’s recent statement that he took revenge on Uddhav Thackeray for “betraying” him.
Uddhav Thackeray made the remark while addressing a press conference in Mumbai, saying, “That is why Delhi felt that the chief minister should be changed and he (Fadnavis) be made deputy chief minister. They also took this revenge. “The Shiv Sena chief’s remarks come in the wake of growing tensions between the two parties, which were once allies.
The BJP came to power in Maharashtra by making tall promises, but they have only shown their true face now. They care only about power and not the people,” Thackeray said. He added that Fadnavis should instead focus on resolving the impasse over forming a new government in the state.
“If Eknath Shinde wanted to leave Shiv Sena because of the way he was treated by Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray, we were not going to ask him to go back. We were going to welcome him and support him. We have taken revenge for the betrayal,” Devendra Fadnavis had said.
