Mainpuri Bypoll 2022: The Samajwadi Party has announced that Dimple Yadav will be its candidate for the Mainpuri by-election. The by-election is being held to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mulayam Singh Yadav from the Lok Sabha.
Dimple Yadav is the wife of SP National President Akhilesh Yadav and is currently a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. She has been active in politics since 2008 and has held various positions in the party. The Mainpuri by-election will be held on December 5, and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.
