Delhi restaurants can now serve food in open spaces and terrace. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has approved the use of open spaces and terraces for dining purposes at restaurants in the city. This overturns previous orders and allows restaurants to serve food in these areas.
This is good news for both restaurateurs and customers, as it provides more options for dining locations. Customers can enjoy their meals in a wider range of settings, while restaurants can make better use of their space. Delhi restaurants to take advantage of this opportunity and provide an even better dining experience for their customers.
Delhi restaurants can now serve food in open spaces, terraces and rooftops, the Delhi Fire Service has said. In a notification issued on Wednesday, the fire service said that “in case of open space on the ground floor, no additional fire NOC will be required”. Similarly, for open spaces on upper floors, “no additional fire NOC is required for the eating establishment having an area of 90 square metres and already in possession of fire NOC”.
